The tagline of the initiative - Promoting the artisans and arts - communicates our emphasis on both artisans and the arts. Putting artisans first in the tag line is our deliberate message to focus on the human dimension of the arts and crafts
The varied textures, colours and shades inside the map, communicate the diverse variety of crafts in the State of Uttar Pradesh- over one hundred have been mapped by the initiative
The two hands in the logo highlight the handmade nature and focus of the initiative
The irregularity in the outline of the logo and slightly smudged red colour in the outer circle is deliberate to pay tribute to beauty in the imperfections of hand made products.
Finally, the links to the blog and the face-book page of the initiative facilitate the interested viewer of the logo to visit the pages. We hope you do so!
